Where Does Money For The Federal Budget Come From?

The money comes from taxes and fees as well as borrowed money when the taxes of a given year are insufficient. A huge significant (46.54%)  of tax revenue comes from individual income taxes.

This portion of income taxes is used for federal funds which gives the government the power to decide to spend them in their own way, while the payroll taxes (which accounts for smaller percentage of the revenue) are used for public programs. Knowing this, it is interesting to see that those of the lower class are essentially paying for most of the budget. First of all, there is a progressive income tax bracket meaning that those who earn higher wages pay less taxes than what is assumed because of the bracket. This means that they contribute less to the federal funds. In addition, they may give their part by matching the payroll taxes that get into the public programs but they avoid contributing to the federal tax revenue by avoiding corporation taxes through loopholes make the rich richer.
