Medicare for ALL? I Think Yes

“A single-payer, universal health-care system is likely to lead to a 13% savings in national health-care expenditure, equivalent to more than $450 billion annually.”

The Universal Health care has always been on going debate when it comes to presidential debates. Obama came the closest to it with ObamaCare. Alison Galvani, lease author of the Lancet, states that Medicare for All will increase taxes but it will eliminate the high costs of healthcare premiums, deductibles, copays and other fees. Another thing is that it would not hurt those with current insurance but help ease the difficulty of finding a doctor who best suits you as a patient without having to worry whether they are in or out of network. This quote shuts down the debate, in addition to the proof that Obamacare had when it was in effect. It also is further proven with the other countries like Sweden and Costa Rica. I personally think that it is just the fact that these pharmaceutical companies make large profits and putting this idea into affect could affect that. But, the people’s health should be the most important.
